I came with a friend, who lives there, she took me around Zurich to spend some time before my flight back to Stockholm. The place has spectucular views over Zurich, and we went right before sunset. It's probably one of the best places in Zurich if you're into photography and it obviously require a walk up the hill.

This was a must-see activity in the city. Even though it was a steep uphill climb, it was worth at the end. We could admire the river and city fascinating panoramic views through the platform. Comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. Relaxation.

It's easily accessible within walking distance of Zurich Central Station, and is a place where you can see a view that encapsulates the beauty of Zurich.
The square is also home to a drinkable fountain, a Zurich specialty, and you can easily enjoy the beauty of the city of Zurich and the splendor of nature.
Even if you're short on time, this is a place you can't miss.

Lindenhof is a park on a hill near the old town of Zurich. This is one of the viewpoints of the city of Zurich.
From our hotel in the old town we walked across the bridge and walked up the small hill to the park. The garden is not large but shady, lots of trees.
The main attraction is looking from the edge of the park towards the Limat river and the old city. We can see rows of old buildings and churches in Zurich including Grosmunster.

This is a nice spot to relax and watch the busy area around the river. I brought some Prosecco with...and if you stick around long enough, it can be very peaceful. This is officially one of my favourite spots in Zurich.

The Lindenhofplatz is the oldest part of Zurich at an elevated position in the old town.
When walking from the main railway station, it will be above the right bank of the Limmat river. You need to take an easy walk up to an elevated plateau where's a park with benches overlooking the entire town. Beneath it are Roman ruins, the oldest part of the city, but they're not in great shape and not that interesting.
Close by is the St. Peter's Church.

Fifth stop: Zurich
Since we only had half a day, we only visited two attractions.
Lindenhof Park (Lindenhof)
You can overlook the old town of Zurich from a high place. It is the best place to enjoy the panoramic view of Zurich. It is also the scene of the Korean drama "Crash Landing on You" and is a must-visit spot.
Bahnhofstrasse
I walked into this street not for shopping, but for a pilgrimage to Confiserie Sprungli, a century-old chocolate cafe. It was Sunday morning, and the restaurant was crowded. Next time, I would like to avoid the time when the locals are on holiday.
In summary, the most worthwhile place to visit in Switzerland is the suburban towns, and the cities are just like ordinary European landscapes. The environment on both sides is really a paradise on earth and a real world. What I admire most about the protection of nature by the local people or the government is that I have never seen any garbage on the hiking trails and they are very clean. The opposite is true in cities. I really hope that everyone can cherish this beautiful home of the earth.

My daughter's name is Linden so I'm biased with my appreciation for this plaza. But it really is lovely. There's a statue of Linden, the woman hero. There's great views, park benches and linden trees! The old city around it is fantastic for window shopping and photography.

Save this place for a time when the weather gives some visibility. Hike up the hill and take photos of the river and get your bearings before conquering the Old Town on the other side of river. On a nice day, buy some cured meats and wine on Rennwegg and enjoy the elevated perspective near one of the fountains.

Easy to get to, bit of a steep climb for a few hundred metres but manageable.
Views overlooking river are very nice probably best place in Zurich for helicopter view.
Not much else around lookout so only need 5 - 10 minutes tops.

Can we reach lindenhof from hotel crown plaza through Bus or tram. The nearest train station is little far, so Bus and Tram may be more convenient. Plz guide

Best is to go to tram station Letzigrund. Leave tram at station Paradeplatz.
