On the well-known Squirrel Path, your children can not only feed the cute little animals but also solve a riddle on the information panels. The path begins near the hotel BelArosa at the crossing on Tomeli Strasse (in front of the Waldhotel National) and ends at the Maran bus stop. It's fun for everyone - not just the little ones! The story is also available as a picture book for CHF 13.00.

We did not really know what to expect, but this short walk was really nice. To see all those cute animals.

This comfortable low stress hike in the forest above Arosa has a series of humorous placards describing the adventures of Erich Eichornchen , a squirrel being educated by his uncle. The walk is well worth your time--but be ready to be greeted up close be...More

Our favorite walk in Arosa. Although it was icy-cold, the Squirrels were waiting for us. AND the birds. they sometimes scare the squirrels and eat their food! We took it twice and promised each other to never miss it again while in Arosa!

Eichhörnchen are squirrels. The Eichhörnchenweg is a short walk leading through the forest between Prätschli and the center of Arosa. I did it in winter, when the pine trees were full of snow. Very romantic. The path is also good for children, because there are...More
