There would be enough snow but no need to get snow boots as an ordinary sports shoes with good grip can do the needful and a warm jacket is a must plus gloves and cap if you want to visit the glacier cave on titlis

From Engelberg the safest way with your family to the top of Mt Titlis is by the ropeway and then the flyer. It is safe and not scary. As far as the pass is concerned, check the Swiss pass website. You don't have to mention it. When you buy the ropeway ticket show your Swiss pass. If there is a discount you will get it. We did get some discounts. But even if you don't get a discount, go and enjoy there. It is a once in a life time kind of a opportunity. Only check the weather before you go.
