Interesting church with an open crypt, some crypts dating back to 900 AD. Colorful tiled roof and unique statues, basilisk?, on the outside.

Very big and imposing cathedral and annexes. The cathedral is nicer from the outside than from the inner side.

We loved visiting the Basel Munster. If in Basel this is a must see. The history is amazing and the building so well preserved. The grounds around the Munster were beautifull as well looking out over the Rhine River.

We were told we had to visit. It is a landmark in Basel. So glad we did. Choir was practicing before 4:30 Saturday vesper Service.

It‘s nice. I visited Basel on a weekend trip from Zurich and I think this is a „must- see“ in Basel.

Yes, its 2 SFR pp. But sometimes they only let a minimum of 4 people go up. Why? Haven't a clue.

Yes, it is free to tour, I didn't climb the tower, but the church and grounds are free.
