The inside of this cathedral is beautiful and another beautiful place to pray. DO NOT miss the paintings of St John Paul II which are in a room to the right as you enter....they are simply breathtaking.

Most of the churches in Assisi Are filled with busloads of tourists and pilgrims, the cathedral is different. Very quiet and prayerful place to spend an afternoon. St. Francis and Saint Clair were baptized here and the font that was used is still visible
