Underwhelming and getting overrun with shops, to get there and then try and get a decent picture with thousands of people around is a challenge and after the excitement of getting the picture wears off most excursions still have hours left and there's nothing to...More
This is typical tourist place and always crowded even in November month. The first sight when we looked at the Pisa, it's actually leaning. There are other beautiful monuments. Drive from Florence through Tuscany is really beautiful. We had booked a tour which Tripboxe has...More

Dear Kandy, you will be asked to read the information before buying your ticket and you'll have again on your ticket. The ticket to visit the tower is at a fixed time. The Opera della Primaziale Pisana provides a cloakroom, reserved for those who visit the Tower, you are asked to be there 15 minutes before the scheduled time, not before (because there is a slot every 15 minutes) and not later. Bags/bags/luggage must be left at the cloakroom. The staff will take care of bulky items. Show your ticket and you will be provided with a box and its badge. Your item(s) have to be collected at the end of the visit to the Tower. Please consider to use the left luggage at the central train station.
The visist to the Tower takes 30 minutes.
you can visit all the other monuments and museums during the openinig time.
Both buses and taxis are available from the central train station.
