My wife and I met the Sapori e Saperi Adventures guide at the Barga train station after a 50 minute trip from Lucca. The guide (Francesca Buonagurelli)-- subject matter expert and fluent in many languages-- took us to tour a 300-year old (and still functioning)...More

Group of 11 women went on a tour of a local farm/cheese factory tour arranged for us by Sapori and Saperi. We ALL loved it. Beautiful drive, great history facts shared with us and then a chance to watch them make several types of cheese....More

The tour included many great tastes and wonderful meals in people's homes that would not be included in any other tour. Italian cheese, pasta and olive oil were revelations. The cooking lesson was fun and I am now convinced that I can make homemade pasta....More

The truffle hunt that Erica from Sapori e Saperi put together was fantastic! Hands down the best day of trip to Italy! We can't wait to go on another adventure with Erica!!
