About Italy on a Budget Tours
Italy on a Budget tours is a leading Italian travel company based in Florence offering epic trips in Italy for young adventurers aged 18 -39 with a local, passionate, crazy, fun, easygoing and professional crew. The tours are the perfect opportunity to make new friends and meet people of the same age while learning, tasting and visiting what the territory has to offer in a fun environment. We offer day tours, city breaks and holidays in the major Italian destinations such as Florence, Tuscany, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Rome, Venice, Amalfi coast, Sicily and lots more. English is the only language used during the tour, while you think this is obvious, many Italian companies have their tours in several languages. On our tours you won't have to listen the guide repeating the same things over and over again in 4 languages. The tours are more personal and certainly more entertaining.

Our tour guide Eduardo was great. We thoroughly enjoyed Pompeii and the local guide Guido. I was disappointed that we had to pay an extra $30 Euro for the local guide after spending so much on the tour itself. The train to Pompeii was fantastic....More

Good morning Jen, that's a pity you did not enjoy the city of Naples which is the third largest city in Italy full of history, culture, tradition and great food. Certainly Pompeii and Naples are two completely different sites; the first one is in fact...More

Great your led by Lorenzo, a Florentine with deep knowledge of the Tuscan area. He presented the tour with great enthusiasm, yet was also very conscious of both engaging his attendees, and not talking too much. We went to Monteriggioni, Siena, and San Gimingano all...More

It is totally up to you and your budget but we always recommend having a licensed tour guide inside the historical site as you can learn a lot from the ruins you see. Unfortunately regular tour leaders are not allowed to... More
