My wife and I spent a week in Florence and had the opportunity to take some day trips. We were fortunate to squeeze in a trip to Montalcino, Montepulciano,and Pienza for some wine and cheese tasting. Miguel/Mike was our guide and he was very informative, and was able to keep us all on schedule! Ciao Florence (CF) did a nice job in finding the perfect itinerary for a trip to this wine region. We had a fun group on this tour and it was a great size to have it personalized where we had a chance to talk to others and learn from Mike. This trip was also a value in terms of the time and effort in what CF put together. We hope to visit Florence again and we will certainly look to see what other tours they offer. Ciao for now!

Fiematta was a wonderful guide with lots of historical and local information for our walking tour up into the hills and countryside across the Arno from Florence. We ended at the Piazza Michelangelo to see the city and the Duomo bathed in evening light. It was a magical experience.

We spent an incredible day touring Cinque Terre. First, by bus to Manarola and then between the villages by train. The end of the tour was the best as we were able to travel by boat and see the villages from the water - spectacular!
We were there during Europe's Summer Heat Wave of 2019, so it was incredibly hot, but the views, the wonderful lunch; and the gorgeous sea made it all so worth while.
Our guide, Florentina, was excellent and kept us all safe even while switching modes of transport and jostling with many other visitors. Florentina knew the area well, could answer any question; and really added to the enjoyment of our day.
If you can't manage a ton of walking, waiting on train platforms, hopping on to a boat, or making your way down steep narrow stairs along the hillside ... this tour may not be for you.
But if you can manage, Cinque Terre is unique and stunning; and this tour is not to be missed.

We were supposed to do a small boat tour to Amalfi Coast with them on Friday but weather canceled the tour. They were able to rebook us with a different company, but failed to mention there would be nearly 50 people on the boat, no swimming stops, etc. Made for a disappointing day for my kids. The price of the tour was also €200 less than what I paid, and when I asked to receive money back for the difference, they stopped responding to emails. So, if the same happens to you and they offer to rebook, ask specific questions on what is all included so you don’t get blindsided like we did.

We had a private transfer with Cristian Nuti and he was an excellent driver that shared much about the regions we drove through to our destination.
Very knowledgeable in many areas!
I highly recommend Cristian for any type of service…wine tours, tours in & around Florence, and private transfer.
He’s very accommodating & you will not be disappointed in the quality of service!

Such a great experience!
While stuck at home not able to travel, we were looking for a fun experience to do with my parents and came across the Chianti Hills Virtual Wine Tasting. It was fantastic! You select the number of bottles of wine and a date for your experience and they do the rest. Wine was delivered to my home in Florida with it a few days and Chiara set up a zoom call for our selected date. We logged into the zoom call to meet Alberto, a wonderful member of the Torciano family winery. It was great, he walked us through the 6 different wines we had received, telling us all about the winery, each of the wines, taught us the proper wine tasting method and discussed other products they make on site (olive oil and balsamic vinegar). The experience lasted about an hour and was one of the highlights of the past few months in quarantine. For those of you staying home and staying safe, this was a great way to escape to Italy for a bit, even if just over zoom.

We had a great day visiting Cinque Terre with our guide Constantino and our driver Albert. Constantino was a great guide who explained everything so well, gave us independent time after letting us know what should we sightsee. Aaand he was also very funny in all the three languages that he had to translate as the group was multilingual. Highly recommend them, we had a great experience!

Tuscany Highlights Tour with our fantastic tour guide Serena from Ciao Florence and our coach driver Boris who were both so friendly, helpful and professional throughout they really looked after the whole group.
Fantastic value for money visiting Siena, San Gimmingano and Pisa which included lunch and wine tasting at a local winery too.
Would definitely recommend this tour and Ciao Florence Tours to anyone visiting Florence and this trip is ideal for travellers on a limited time staying in Florence.
Tuscany countryside is simply stunning.

The Scent of the Seas Cinque Terre tour operated by Ciao Florence was a full day of touring allowing us to get a taste of four Cinque Terre towns. By bus we went to the train and traversed the small towns by train , and fortunately the weather cooperated and we were able to make one of the hops on the water , by boat. Because you cover so much in one day you get a 60 min to 90 minute taste of each town. The tour guide Federica was excellent in her knowledge but especially her logistical skills as she was able keep the group together on multiple train stops and then return she was pleasant, informed and definitely skilled at this task !
The driver Raoul was skilled in taking us safely up and down hills and valleys. If you want to see Cinque Terre ( albeit at an accelerated pace) and have some one else do the drinking and train logistics, this tour is for you.

We are so happy to do the tour Siena, Pisa and San Gimignano just beautiful countryside, Constantine provided great commentary and was very knowledgeable, very humorous; Gabriel’s driving was smooth, safe, easily navigating impossibly narrow streets with ease. Our favorite was San gimignano, a beautiful Tuscan town. We highly recommend this tour.

Good morning. I will stay with family in December at Florence, and I 'll like to do the circuit Florence- Pisa-Lucca, one day tour for 8 people, but I didn't see the announce at Get your guide or Trip advisor. There's no more days for choose?

I am in siena and I would like to join the tour in siena. Go to San gemminiano with the tour and end the tour in pisa. Is that possibly for Thursday. I can join an English or a Spanish tour

Looking at a tour on expedia and it appears to be run by this company. It's the tour from Naples to Pompeii and Sorrento. Looking to take this tour with my kids while we have a 1 day stop on a cruise ship. Has anyone taken this tour? It seems like a really good deal for the 7 hours we would be with the tour guide. It mentions guarantee back by time ship leaves. Any other tips?
