Today I joined the "Cinque Terre Small-Group Day Trip from Florence". Our guide was Antonio and our bus driver was also Antonio.
I have only good things to say about this trip. Our guide was easy going, personable and connected with all the partipants. It was a long day, including 90+ minute bus trip (depending on traffic) and then hopping on and off the train to visit four of the five charming cities. A lot of walking, but the views of the sea from the various cities was breathtaking. We returned back to Florence at 7 pm. Would certainly use this company again.

Our Golf Cart Tour of Florence was wonderful. The driver/guide was knowledgeable and provided recorded details in a variety of languages to match the customer. The tour enabled us to quickly see the city and know which areas we wanted to zero in on. While it began to rain near the end, our driver quickly zipped us up behind the plastic to keep us dry. Fantastic service. About an hour tour. Electric cart, so it was quiet.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed out tour of the Uffitzi guided by Stefano. His knowledgeable commentary made the experience so much more informative and interesting than just reading the signs next to the works of art. We'd do it again and highly recommend him!

It is difficult to tell who owns this company citywonders or city florence tours, especially when they leave without you 1 min after departure. They fall on their small print when, in reality, they probably didn't have enough numbers to start it
Potentialy. They know there's thousands of people using GPS in the relatively small area surrounded by tall buildings, and their link took us to the meeting point at 1218. A ph call was made to confirm 👍 no guide to be seen anywhere. We traveled from New Zealand leaving Toscana the same day, and they did not care when I called again after frantically trying to locate the position of the guide. At 1.31, I called again frantically distressed and it was good late. The guide was already inside. We missed out. No offer of the guide calling us nothing. I'd even purchased an Italian SIM. They didn't want to know. Disgusting

City Wonders is a huge company and you can totally tell this by dealing with them. I purchased 2 tours from them and both were problematic. Both tours left earlier than scheduled (which caused me to miss one of them, with no refund) and the tour guide was the rudest person I ever met!

Five stars for meeting all needs and leaving no wants.
We neglected to purchase a skip the line ticket for the Uffizi and found ourselves clutching two barcodes for a guided City Wonders tour with Chiara. Joined by two other couples, off we went to see the highlights. The tour was efficient and provided solid background to not only the collection highlights, but some art history and thematic connections between the pieces. While there are many tour guides to choose from, likely all telling similar stories, we felt confident with Chiara and she proved to be an excellent resource when we had rather complex questions. Great humor too.

I am so happy that we did this tour because the line to get inside of the Duomo was a mile long! It was easy to find the meeting point and the tour was simple but good.

We loved the tour, but I have one thing I would like to point out. This was not my first time in Florence so I am able to critisise. We loved the tour and the items that the guide pointed out.
Two things to quibble about, as a walking tour, please show the front fascade of the Doma, there were people in the group that had never been to Florence. From the main square one really gets an incredible overveiw of the Doma, and the ambience of the square.
The other sad item is that the guide failed to show us the Madonna holding Jesus. This iconic item was sadly bypassed on our day.

I just completed the tour, led by Paul. Paul's style for touring was to ask the group questions. When he received a response, he would then criticize and berate whoever had answered. Within 5 minutes of the tour beginning (we left 6 minutes early) he told one participant to go stand behind a tall gentleman because he did not want to look at her! When she resisted, his response, "I am serious, get out of my sight!" This continued for the entire tour. Participants quickly fell silent which only annoyed him more so he then said, "This is a horrible group, won't answer questions." His parting words were to one participant, "Go home and take a shower!" He had earlier referred to her as "the stinky one". He mentioned that he has been doing this for 16 years and "I am tired of talking". I think it is time for him to find other work!

You pay a lot of money and the don´t give you they tour as described, was a waste of my money becasuse forget about get to the duomo, we paid for the morning tour and the guide said when we got to the Duomo, "as you can see the line is to long, so you better go by your self to walk around the city, We were so mad, we paid to get in, and then she gave us the same information that I had read in wikipedia, exactly that, so please don´t throw you money to the trash can.
We try to fin an office to complain, forget it, there are none in Florence, none in Rome.
I want to ask my refound and they don´t answered.

We had a two part tour with City Wonders: The Uffizi lead by Patti and The David and evening walking tour lead by Polina. Both were outstanding. But Trip Advisor only allows one review every 90 days. How can I review both parts of this marvelous experience?

I have used City Wonders a lot to book for individual entry tickets to Museums and galleries throughout Italy and France. They do a great job in providing a service such as jump the queue and giving an informed narrative to what you see. I personally have not done the one day Florence to Venice, but if you are pressed with time, I am sure they would do a good job.
