Imposing city hall, containing treasures of art, paintings, sculptures, frescoes, antique furniture. The Council Hall has wonderful ceiling decorations, Marble and granite eagles - giving the palazzo its name - are found in every room and staircase.

This place is having a beautiful massive big fountain in front of it. The square is representing one of the principal point of interest in Palermo

Doesn't stand the comparison with Roman or Venitian plazzas. Very mediocre statues and decrepit buildings

I've seen fountains in many cities around the world. I was taken by the simplicity of both fountain and its setting. Very impressive and do a selfie there.

When visiting Palermo you must come in the neighbourhood of this fine piece of art. Well maintained and definitely worth some pictures. Enjoy the beautiful statues and unwind.

This city hall is quite well incorporated in the magnificant surroundings, but unfortunately we didn't go inside since some kind of protest was in progres in front of the entrance.
