whenever you go to some places at this market, if they do not have a menu with prices or a list of drinks price fixed do not hesitate to ask before you buy; we moved to palermo 3 months ago and we visit the market...More

We were with a small group experiencing the market at night for some food. Food was very good- fresh sea food of all types, different things to fry such as sardines, panele and potato and of course the spleen. Oysters too I think. We liked...More

Great place to go if you like an after ten drink. It all happens late in the day here. Get some great fresh sea food if you are there about 9 - about €20 for two - but it is late when it is happening....More

I heard a lot about this place and I was full of expecations, but it was not so cool as I thought. Few vendors and quite dirty, some street food vendors, but......After the visit I was told it is better to go in the night,...More

Good from a photographic point of view for the street art. A couple of pathetic Bric a brac stalls and 2 vegetable stalls. When I got back I saw I should have gone at night on the weekend. I will.

Great market to see local culture, sample foods, people watch, shop for food and gain a good sense of the local ways. Had a wonderful cannoli and coffee sitting at an outside table watching the people pass.

We found a distinctly confusing array of reviews about the Vucciria. Some saying it is a busy and vibrant market with great street food in the evenings, but most were telling us it was on the way out and not the place it had been....More

Interesting, vivid place. Daytime you can see (buy and taste) a nice colletion of several local Italian products here: fruits, fish, spices. There are some parts which function as some kind of flee market: you can buy old coins, telephones, books, postcards and whatever. It...More
