The entrance is free and the guides are extremely well prepared and make The visit worthwhile even if you are not passionate about etnography. The museum is next to The bourbon king's hunting lodge (palazzina cinese) in a nice park.

The museum is close to the "Palazzina Cinese", so you should visit the 2 of them at the same time. Museo Pitrè is really very interesting and there are a couple of tour guides that will help you understand exactly what you are seeing. It...More

If you are interested in traditions and you want to learn more about Sicilian culture then the Museum is the place for you. There is a lot to see and it is definitely a great place but go with an open mind.
