Piazza Duomo is just yet another Piazza, although Duomo has the elephant statue. Go by this place on your way to the fish market

Beautiful square in front of the duomo, with the basalt elephant statue and fountain very near. Hangout for people at night. We saw a duo performing some seriously cool dancemoves

We were very fortunate, as we stayed in an AirBnb accommodation adjacent to the Piazza Duomo, to be able to experience the piazza’s vitality at different times of the day. I encourage you to visit early morning while savoring granite and a brioche at Prespitin...More

Go on Sunday, before 12.00. Then have lunch in a place round the corner. A parking lot nearby, check on the internet, not expensive.

Yes. It is really easy and close, just exit from the port, turn left and walk following the archs. You'll arrive at "Porta Uzeda" at your right. Cross it and you'll be there.
