Our hotel was near this square so we walked through it every time we went to sight see or eat. The beautiful buildings along the side are part of the University of Catana, the oldest university in Sicily.

At least for me it did. What a wealthy feeling if this type of architectural building is used for “just” educational purposes.
The entire square is quite the view.
