A long a steep staircase to the beach and then a walk to the island, but it's worth the effort. A natural beauty! The island is pretty and the beach is picturesque.

Full of locals sunbathing. Clear water. Would recommend spending a bit of the day here but sunbathing further up on the private beaches.

Lovely, busy place to spend the day. Make sure that you have water shoes with you because the pebbles on the beach make it painful for you to walk if you are not used to it.

We had a great day at Isola Bella, and the blue Grotto. The water is a delight, very clear, you can see the corals and fish. Isola Bella is very crowded, since everybody wants to be there. Charming!

For a space in paradise which should be so beautiful, there are unresolved political issues which prevent the restructuring of La Isola Bella to it's former glory. Great to visit but slightly disappointing.

We love taormina, and we loved Isola Bella. But the water were very unclean and the place as well. They should really take care of it more :(

People flock here for a reason: it’s a gorgeous mountainous cove with perfectly blue, swimmable water, boat excursions, and restaurants with good food. Take a left after the stairs to the umbrellas for the best spot.
