NIce square in Sassari, well maintained and places to enjoy the great buildings as well as the contrast between old/new, well maintained or not... Yet, you can find similar squares in different cities as well

This is a lovely Piazza with the civic building in the center and many nice restaurants around the periphery. It is very scenic and there is a nice statute of Emanuale Vittorio. Perfect for watching people and eating at one of the outdoor cafes.

Wonderful piazza to spend an afternoon. Even better in the evening for the traditional passeggiata. The residents were so very friendly to us. Great place for coffee or wine. Relax.

A nice piazza where you can meet, relax a bit after visiting the town, eat ice-cream, drink a coffee. Also, there are shops nearby, if you want to go shopping.

We were in Sassari for the big Calvacatta festival and this was the center of the action. Lots of dancing and singing, surrounded by beautiful historic buildings. There are nice bars and restaurants on the square or nearby.

Piazza d'Italia is a very nice, large, bright square in Sassari city center, worth a visit. It's very close to the university and other sights.
