Wonderful piazza to spend an afternoon. Even better in the evening for the traditional passeggiata. The residents were so very friendly to us. Great place for coffee or wine. Relax.

A nice piazza where you can meet, relax a bit after visiting the town, eat ice-cream, drink a coffee. Also, there are shops nearby, if you want to go shopping.

A large square in the center of Sassari. A good place to spend an afternoon especially in the Giordano cafe.

We were in Sassari for the big Calvacatta festival and this was the center of the action. Lots of dancing and singing, surrounded by beautiful historic buildings. There are nice bars and restaurants on the square or nearby.

Piazza d'Italia is a very nice, large, bright square in Sassari city center, worth a visit. It's very close to the university and other sights.

Civic centre that comes to life on official city celebrations. Nice 19th century buildings on the perimeter and VE2 in the centre. The shops on the perimeter are a little disappointing. Car free generally.
