Two towers and a few wall sections are all that remain of the Medieval Wall. Torre di Mariano II was once a gate in the medieval walls. Today it is the centerpiece of Piazza Roma. It is the best preserved part of the walls. See...More

Very interesting and well preserved city walls surrounding the pedestrianised historic centre. Some fine examples of the old gated towers which provided access to the town: porta mannu is particularly worth seeing.

Nice main shopping street with the tower at the top. Some interesting coffee bars around. Beware most places shut pre 2pm. Nice tower in a square at the end of the shopping street.

Piazza Roma surrounds this vestige of the medieval fortifications and marks the start of some very pleasant pedestrian streets. The tower itself is an impressive monument that has been well preserved and admirably showcased.

This bell tower was built between the 11th and 13th century and makes a great center point for the square. The tower was great to view at night.

Its a beautiful small square with lots of history, but wake up Oristano not much information around over historic building, cathedrals etc,no printed information at all it seems. To make it up though nice bars perfect for a relaxed coffee/glass of wine, and boutique shops.
