We happened upon this museum by chance on our last morning. It's tucked away behind the church but opens up underneath the church to reveal considerable, and well preserved, remains of the old Roman settlement. The remains are well explained and modern as they were...More

A somewhat different museum from the norm in that when you pay on entry , 5€ each, you are presented with an Asus tablet to guide you through the displays with audio. You go down steps under the church above and walk along a raised...More

We had walked by several times and not considered entering. Glad we didn't make the same mistake the last time. Often Roman ruins look like a jumble of stones with no clear pattern. Not here. You can see a road with drains, a shop and...More

I somehow somewhere got across a coupon for visiting this place, during my stay in Cagliari, otherwise I would not have known about it ... and what a nice surprise it was! Layers upon layers of long gone civilizations are there for everyone to see,...More

In a time when everything is whizz bang, to go underground beneath a church to see the remains of (well preserved) roadways, tombs, cisterns and walls etc is a nice change. There is an extensive walkway that goes above the ruins and allows you to...More

Whilst a relatively small museum the overall experience was one of literally stepping back in time - reminiscent of Pompeii but nothing like the same scale

A great spot to see the history of this little town. They kindly provided us with a tablet containing an audio guide in English. My children (aged 7&9) loved it! A very interesting visit - lasting only 30 mins.
