This beach counts 3 towers and one can snorkel best on the left hand tower walking down from the parking down to the cliff and turn right towards the tower and descend. Make sure to wear slippers or water shoes because the rocks are sharp....More

But please don't visit this beach as we don't want too many people to know about it :-) It had flat, calm clear water on one day and that was lovely. Then on another day it had 5ft waves that were loads of fun.

Great beaches of sand stretching right around this pretty bay, safe swimming with sand dunes to the rear of the beach, beach bar for snacks and drinks, plenty free parking

Worth a visit, lots of very interesting history in Sardinia and this is one of the best sites we visited.

Not too busy, secluded and wonderful. Only one place to rent sunbeds, and they didn't have too many, so not a lot of people could stay there - perfect! I wanna go back!

Hi again James, Bosa is a must, south along the coast. Regular bus service I believe. Spectacular coastal views. Bosa is small town full of character with castle, narrow streets and river.

Hi James, There's lots of lovely walks along the beaches. From Alghero you could walk along to Pia Maria beach, a very long crescent beach of about 5km long. We didn't see any recognised walks as between the beaches the... More

Hi Bodgan, Porto Ferro They have a surf school here, but in July waves were either flat or (one day) completely on shore blown out. I'm told its one of the few potential surf spots "out of season". Only a guess but don't... More
