Large parking area with a short walk to the beach make this a convenient, less crowded beach than the Alghero town beaches. Popular with surfers but also shallow water for kids to play in and a cafe (hut) that serves snacks and drinks.

Great, no-fuss beach, only go there when it is not too much wind. If you make the effort and wander further down, the beach becomes almost empty of people.

It is a nice place, long stretch with clean water (blue flag in 2016). There is a surf spot, not big waves at least in July, but good to start. It is mostly open, a small managed place at the beginning. Not too far from...More

This is a good beach where the visitors have to travel to get there. The sand is tougher here and the parking is quite close to the beach but not directly at the beach. The bar is limited but functional. Tends to get crowded at...More

I've worked in Alghero so have spent a lot of time at this wonderful beach. Its part of a nature reserve and on the quieter side away from the road there a small beach great for getting a brown bum ;)

A little wild, and we liked that, beautiful sea! Nice place to spend a day at the beach, walking, swimming and relaxing. there is a restaurant just on the beach.

We weren't interested in the beach. What there is are 2 good walks; one around the "nature reserve and another along the cliff path going south west. Both are circular and join up. In all a good outing on a breezy and not too hot...More

Nice beach with lovely sand. Quieter than other beaches in the area if you walk a way along. It was very windy and cloudy the day we went so we didn't stay too long.

Hi again James, Bosa is a must, south along the coast. Regular bus service I believe. Spectacular coastal views. Bosa is small town full of character with castle, narrow streets and river.
