We always try to shop in the local markets, but we were maybe not there early enough to catch the best of this one, despite being there before 9. Surprisingly quiet - almost deserted - and not great value.
This being Italy, the supermarkets also stock excellent fresh produce. However, the market experience is always worthwhile, and if you are after seasonal goodies rather than staples, you will find fantastic local fruit and veggies here at the market, bursting with taste.
