We visited Bari's old city with our rickshaw tour. The place is full of charm with its streets and arcs. Do not miss the Church of San Nicola and Bari's Cathedral.

The old city of Bari was sort of an unexpected miracle for me: the narrow medioeval houses, the feeling with mixing with the locals, the labyrinth of the small streets and high walls worth definitely a visit - you can spend half a day walking...More

If you have seen the main attractions as the basilica, the cathedral and the norman fortress there rest of the old town with its narrow streets, little shops and small churches is worth to be seen. The old women, who form orecchiete from dough and...More

The worst place to visit. I took hotel Riviera next to the seaside. In the hotel there are cockroaches. I had to walk to private beach with sand and pay 8 euros every day , as the coast is only with rocks. There is dog...More

I loved wandering around Bari, especially the Old Town. It's very atmospheric and picturesque if you don't mind getting a little bit lost. You get a snap shot of ordinary lives living, overhear lots of . excited conversations and catch some charming views. The best...More

Really enjoyed walking around the old part of Bari, lots of lovely bars and restaurants, enjoy the beautiful churches and walk along the outer wall by the sea.

This is an ongoing residential area, with a few restaurants, kids in the streets, narrow passageways, and of course various churches. Close to the harbor and restaurants.

We spent the first day of our holiday travelling around the south of Italy in the old part of Bari, starting with the small blue fishing boats in the harbour and working our way around the small winding streets with the occasional stop for a...More

The old town of Bari is similar to all the similar historical centers of southern Italy. Narrow streets, allowing to hide in the shadow of the unmerciful southern sun, hung across the streets of linen. Just like in the Italian films of the neo-realist era....More

Quite diverting for an hour or two. It was very busy though with lots of tour groups and the souvenir shops spilled out onto the streets.

You can leave your car on the lungomare and walk to the bari vecchia. There are few houses with old ladies making pasta but you may need to make couple of circles on these streets to find one of them. They usually do it in... More
