At first glance, you see a huge fort/castle and think to yourself "there must be a lot to explore and see inside". In reality, you can literally see all of the few tiny spaces they have open and watch a movie about it in 15...More

We visited te castle hoping to be able to see the city from the towers or walls but all areas that can be visited are downstairs. So overall not bad but not what I expected from it. What was nice was an exposition of paintings.

My landlady said "just visit the outside, inside is boring and not worth paying." So I listened. It is very picturesque and I was there several times a different times of the day to see how light changed it. I like it.

Even if one doesn't know the history of this gorgeous fortification it speaks for itself in terms of importance. A photographer's delight!
