As others at TA have mentioned, the Ponte San Michele is at the south end of Vicenza, not far from the Basilica, and viewing it from the bridge more to the west provides for great views looking both at the bridge and water at the...More

The Ponte San Michelle bridge spans the river (Fiume Retrone) in central Vicenza with grace and elegance. Its old and weather beaten. Old houses line both sides of the river and it is the perfect spot for a picture of an old Italian town.

If you or your spouse enjoy taking photographs, this is a good place to spend an hour or so. The bridge and surrounding buildings are above average for photography.

Beautiful and ancient-looking. Nice to stop and watch the water go by. Beautiful pictures from this bridge, and make sure to take pics of the bridge itself.

The bridge is in the quiet quarter not far away from the centre of Vicenza. You'd better to visit it at night, but during the day You're sure to find something beautiful in it))
