In a sunny day I could sit here forever. The view is amazing especially because it was for free. Totally recommend it.

We took the funicular (it will be on the left after crossing Ponte Pietra) to the top of the Piazzale and enjoyed the spectacular views from the top. This was one of the best things we saw in beautiful Verona.

Steep hike and lots of stairs...but cable car is for the weak!!!! Get your exercise in and climb for the amazing views!!!! Best part is reaching the top and seeing the breathtaking city of Verona!!!!

I’m a sucker for a view from the top and this is certainly a pretty one! The climb isn’t that bad, there are some stairs which my friend and I conquered in less than 10 minutes. But it’s worth it!

The views from up here are just amazing! The funicular is worth it but on a nice day it would be nice to walk up the hill as well. You can see the whole of Verona which is just beautiful. Well worth a visit for...More

No museum. Hike or take trolly up to it. It is free to hike, trolly costs a bit, and a good overlook.

We headed off to this place as found limited things to do and it is a trek from centre of town. There is a cable car and I recommend using this as it’s a steep climb to the top. Once there there’s a bar you...More

Although they won't tell you this when you're buying the funicular railway ticket and none of the current tourist literature mentions it, but the Castel San Pietro is closed for the long term as of May 2018. Certainly the views are worth seeing, but if...More

When crossing the bridge behind the duomo (Ponte Pietra) the steps are right across the street. It's an easy hike up, with stopping points and views along the way. If you want the funicular, go left when you cross the street. Coming down on foot...More

Went here at 1030 this morning. There is a funicular you can take, but on our approach to it,it didn't seem to be operating (though it was just after 11). Quite a step climb of 100 or so steps and it was very hot weather. There appeared...More

It is 300 metres and about 7 minutes to walk. I didn't count the steps though :-)
