One of the 3 major churches in the old city of Verona, this is a beautiful example of Baroque and Romanesque art and construction. Well worth a visit.

This is really lovely although there was some construction work going on it didn't spoil it for us. Three euros and that included a guide.

There are two floors in the church. The upper floor is beautiful, a classic Italian basilica, wonderfully decorated. The lower floor is darker and less decorated, but was beautiful in its own way, it felt extremely spiritual and a peaceful place to just sit and...More

Even with the ongoing construction, it is worth your time for a visit especially if you have the combo church ticket. It is dark but just added to the mystique of the experience. Everything is familiar and yet different, you want to explore. The audio...More

If you are interested in churches you can see that one too. The arc in its yard seems to be more interesting but to me the statue of Dante was even more interesting!

OMG this is one of the most beautiful churches in Italy. Along with the frescos the Titian it is so gorgeous. There is ongoing work of restoration BUT forget that and wonder in the majesty of the building. Just amazing.

This was my least favourite out of the 4 main churches and that's because it is so dark in there and there is quite a lot of restoration work going on. It still is amazing and the architecture is really something.

Two churches here - one lower church with a fascinating history (proximity to the river meant flooding was an ongoing risk) and an upper church which sadly is half visible to the visitor, half under scaffold (as is every church we visited in Verona) Two...More

A beautiful, imposing church - well wroth visiting even though the upper floor was completely filled with scaffolding and work was on-going - unfortunate as many details of the structure were masked to the visitor. Be sure to take some time to see the Romanesque...More

This is a very nice church, close to the river of Adige. Totally worth a visit, especially to be pointed out, is the two floor architecture. Currently the upper floor is being renovated.
