The Italian word CARTE means PAPERS, ARTE means ARTS. That's why I've chosen this name to represent these paper creations.Craft techniques of artistic bookbinding and paper marbling are used with fervour in the bookbinding workshop of Venice. The quest is aimed at proposing unusual and original use of paper by developing its vast potential.Marbling on paper are multicoloured explosions which fluctuate from traditional to modern tastes. The marbled sheets realized in limited ranges are always unique items. Maybe some of you had spent an Italian holiday in Venice and had visit my studio next to Rialto bridge.
