This is a great way to see Venice. While physical, it it not very physically strenuous. Our guide Enrico gave us the choice of crossing the Grand Canal for a little more excitement - which we did. It was amazing to be amongst the ferries,...More

Tom and Phillip took very good care of us both on the water and off. Maneuvering through the narrow canals, around gondolas, water taxis, and other vessels challenged our paddling skills but Tom’s instructions made it easy and safe. Thanks!

Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying

for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
