I actually preferred this to the Guggenheim; an eclectic collection, with an incredible Klimt used on a recent French edition of Baudelaire. Upstairs, there'a a fantastic collection of Edo ero Japanese art. The church of San Stae next door is also worth a visit. And,...More

After seeing Peggy Guggeheim's Museum, this was a sad dissapointment. Collection is not very extensive, only place in Venice where no photos are allowed and staff seemed annoyed to have clientele; not worth the entry fee. The oriental collection was small, poor and badly presented....More

Ca Pesaro realises beautiful exhibitions. This seaon a marvellous show about designer Fiorucci. The museum is a quiet oasis in crowded Venice.

From the publicity we had the impression that we would see some Klimt paintings - in fact there was only one (Judith). There was some nice art but the extent of the display was rather limited. The Chinese art was not well displayed and a...More

As this was part of the Venezia Unica Tourist Pass, we decided to stop here. The building itself is a work of art. Inside it was wonderful to see great art includi Klimpt. There was also a fun Fiorucci exhibit while we were there.

Though you can see this museum from the water, you need to worm your way back a few blocks and basically make a U turn to find it. It has a wonderful collection of Japanese art on the top floor and a nice but small...More

This is a highlight in Venice hidden in a palazzo in gran canale. Its collection is quite interesting and the building itself is a piece of art. If you have the chance, try the museum restaurant just in front of the canale that serves a...More

We really enjoyed our visit to this museum! You can get student price tickets if you've already gotten the student Venice pass. The modern art collection was our favorite, there were many different styles represented and some lesser-known works of major artists that gave a...More

The Rialto Bridge is the most famous sight along the
