We had nice walk around the old city walls of Treviso. Very well preserved, there're the gates to enter the city, very tidy. The walk all around its more than one kilometre. Nice and green city, absolutely deserves the visit. Recommended!!!

The city wall of Treviso was built when Treviso was annexed by the Venetian Republic in the late Middle Ages. From the North-West, along the North side, to the North-East of Treviso the wall with the three city gates is still standing, complete with the...More

This city still has the medieval feeling to it. With the moat and castle walls still surrounding 1/2 of the city.

The wall on the northern side of Treviso is very interesting. In July you can find concerts and on hot days some shade to sit and relax.

Er had a cosy little walk along / on the old city wall. Impressive that so much of it has been preserved. Thee was a little bar at the top. Great atmosphere :-)

I would not say these are the highlight of Treviso, but at some point you will walk by a section of the old walls. In the right light, they look lovely (especially on the water)

These defensive walls encircle the city of Treviso and you can walk on quite a long stretch of the northern ramparts for more than a kilometre. They make for a very pleasant stroll in the evening and food festivals are held on them in the...More

This is a lovely walk, partly on the historical walls and partly along tree lined paths along the side of the river. There are moats and an island with swans, ducks, rabbits and chickens. Lovely weeping willows, very picturesque.Perfect for a relaxing stroll and chat.
