Another church in Padua. Finished around 1390. Part of the ornamentation has almost a sumptuous style. Not a church one must see, but if you are in town, it's worth a visit.

Behind an innocuous door hides this visual feast. The roof is plain unpainted wooden beams but the shrine is a wonder to behold. Well worth sticking your head in.

This church is an oasis of calm, with background music of gregorian chant. There is not much art work but has a stillness which makes you aware that you are in a real place of worship

We had a concert here on 28th November 2015. Program included some fine choral music of Australia and several newish Italian sacred music!

From outside it doesn't look like at church. Once you step in you are wowed by the white altar. It's a stunning small church. We paid to light some candles and make a small prayer it was very nice. At the time we visited there...More

We were just walking around Padova, exploring the city and the door to this church was open. We went in and saw such amazing statues (one by Donatello). It is obviously a local church, but open for all as long as Mass isn't being celebrated....More
