We could see this memorial from our hotel. It is very modern, a twisted iron beam from one of the twin towers is embedded in a glass wall. very moving.

Suggestive modern monument, within one of the channels of Padua. The attraction is free. This place is really very close to the train station, easy to reach the 5-minute walk.

I love Libeskind masterpieces (like the Museum dedicated to Shoa in Berlin) and this one in Padova is great. Unfortunately the lights are often out of service... This is a unicum in Europe and you can see a part of the North Tower of WTC...More
