Nice collection of epoque buildings, wonderful arcades, cobbled stoned streets, pretty facades...and the list can continue... It is well worth seeing it.

If visiting Padua, you should invest some time in strolling down the streets in the center. It is filled with shops and coffee shops and it gives that italian feel, that everyone is looking for.

Padua was one of the most prosperous Roman cities during 1C BC. The University of Padua founded in early XII century, second oldest in Italy after Bologna. In Padua you can see art works of Giotto, Donatello, Mantegna, etc.
