It is the touristic highlight of Padova. Unfortunately, you have to buy your ticket in advance. I arrived at lunch time, and the tickets were already finished. As I was in Padova for other reasons, I couldn't buy a ticket in advance.

As mentioned by many other reviews this chapel is incredible. The shear detail and art is incredible and can be appreciated by all. You need to make reservation ahead of time or you won’t be able to get in.

Will very much depend on you, the first visit there were so many people in the chapel it was difficult to take it all in, but it was good preparation for the second longer visit, we took in our literature and were able to give each piece some background. This chapel is exceptional.
