Piazza dei Signori in Padova is an interesting square, lined with shops and restaurants in "portici", and on the west side is the 15th century building with the Clock Tower with the Venetian dial. Contrary to what you can expect from a historic Italian square,...More

During the day there are markets here but in the evening, the piazza comes alive. It is a great place for a spritz or meal and people watching. Beautiful clock tower and surrounding buildings. Enjoy!

This piazza has a clothes and household items outdoor market during the morning most days of the week, and it's great fun to cruise through and look for treasures before you move on to the Piazza delle Erbe, next door, for fruits, vegetables, and an...More

Piazza dei Signori is very laid back in the morning with just a few cafes open. I was told at night it comes alive as a massive outdoor dining area.

Bars line both sides of the square with tables filling the central area. Was a joy to sit drinking Aperol Spritz and red wine in such a beautiful area accompanied by the buzz of busy conversation and the odd bell chime

During the day this is a very quiet square affording great views of the clock tower at night the square is covered in tables and chairs from the bars and restaurants. All the tables and chairs were taken when we visited.
