As part of a long driving trip, we were lucky enough to have booked an overnight in Trento as reaching Venice from Germany was a little too far to travel in one day. It was sheer coincidence that the night we were staying was one...More

Nice square in the middle of the city. Awesome during winter and during summer. Some cafes and GROM (ice-cream) all around but I suggest to get a bit out of this area to find better prices, even though the sight is pretty good. It is...More

The duomo is in the centre of Trento and is a perfect backdrop for stunning photos. The entrance is free but as I write, they are doing restoration work inside. Well worth a visit.

The Duomo and fountain are enough to make this a truly beautiful Italian piazza. It really ranks up there with the best. Maybe it wasn't designed by Bernini, but the fountain with Neptune reigning supreme atop it, is magnificent.

Definitely worth a visit if in the area. A lovely piazza with a central fountain, which is bustling. It is surrounded by bars and restaurants and fabulous buildings.

A nice dome in a traditional Italian city. Nothing really special but I guess worth seeing, if you are in the city.

Very nice square like many in Italy. The Duomo itself warrants a visit. The square is very pleasant with a nice fountain in the middle. It has also a fountain with drinking water (very fresh on a hot day). Lovely buildings from the 15th century...More
