I have been inside a lot of Churches and Basilicas in the last few weeks, and many in my lifetime. That said, I am a little 'church'ed' out at the moment. However... This one is different. This was certainly unique, with a layout I've never...More

It doesn't look like much from the exterior, however the stories inside are a testament to one's religion. The Baroque architecture is mesmerizing.

I don't generally write short reviews but I'll make an exception for this one. This building is absolutely incredible. My words will not even come close to explaining the magnificence of it. Find this Basilica and spend some time looking, sitting and just taking in...More

Unlike many churches in Italy, this one is impressive from the outside as well. Inside, it's amazing - very ornate with masses of gold in the decor. It seems to be popular as a place of worship, too, which is not always the case with...More

This is the MOST AMAZING church I have ever been in, and that includes St Peter's in Rome and Lincoln Cathedral. It's not that huge but it is unbelievably beautiful, with astonishing decoration that looks like it was only done last Tuesday. Jawdropping. Go go...More

This is an amazing place to visit. You need to take your time to enjoy all the details. s you enter the cathedral, you are in awe as everything is heavily decorated. I would definitely revisit

This church is MUCH more ornate and elaborate than the Cathedral that houses the Shroud. Many of the side chapels are worth seeing as well. What a great find!

I've never seen a church layout in this style before, anywhere in the world. Even if the floorplan was more familiar, it would still be a breathtaking church to visit as the decor is quite stunning. This really is a must see for Torino or...More
