From after the second world war, so not really dating back to ancient times, yet an interesting landmark in Paris.

Even though the original bridge was destroyed this 'new' one built after second world war is very much in keeping and has many of the older features.

This bridge was built after the war but has Roman and medieval roots which you can still see at the base. Spanning the Ticino river, it is a fine entrance to Pavia.

A historical point of the city, not to be missed, crossing the bridge is a must, it is the identity of Pavia

Though the bridge was devastated many times due to war, the present one reassembles the original. It is one of the landmarks of Pavia. The photo was taken in 2017 winter.

Unfortunately the Allies bombed this in the war, so this is a copy. But the bridge is part of the history of Pavia and the old bridge and roman previous-bridge foundations can still be seen if the river level is low. Antica Forno Ferrari and...More

On our day trip to Pavia from Milan we visited the supermarket, made up a picnic and chose to sit by the river to eat it whilst admiring this charming bridge. There is an information board close by.

A beautiful visit of the covered bridge over the river. The cars crossing doesn't help to make the environment peaceful, but despite that, it is a delicious place to visit.

This bridge replaced the lod bridge destroyed in WW2, seen from Ponte Liberta it kind of looks authentic but it has no real character. Look at the remnants of the much older bridge at the end of Strada Nuova, neside the new bridge.
