We went there on a very hot July afternoon. We chose to use the elevator, which is a bit pricey, but it was worth it. The place was under construction and very crowded, but we enjoyed the views and the whole experience.
Beautiful terrace rooftop! Much to admire from up the terraces----the marble spires, the panoramic views not only of Milan, but also of the Alps and Apennine Mountains. Long line even with the skip-the-line ticket due to inefficient security checks.
We arrived in Milano today, ready to "race the tourists" to a 9am queue tomorrow, to get to the Duomo rooftop... but we managed to do it this evening, as we walked past at 530pm and no queues! We raced in to the ticket office...More
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the
view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Good Morning Madame, we communicate you that according to the Regulations of Veneranda Fabbrica, accessing the Terraces with prams and push-chairs is only allowed if the latter are folded and not used. The path is difficult because there are steep connection staircases and very narrow passages.
