We climbed the stairs to the rooftop on our own after having taken a guided tour of the chuch interior earlier in the day. The interior is beautiful, but the roof is even more so. You get to see the gargolyes up-close, each of which...More

Great view of the roof statues and, coupled with the museum, is well worth going to. You pay extra to go up in the lift and even more for the fast track. Queues were not a problem when we were there.

Taking the lift up and paying extra to see the rooftop terrace is worth it. You do the terraces first then you can get quick access down to the inside of the Duomo. Views are stunning and on a good day you can see the...More

Beautiful view of Milan available, even taking the life there are some stairs to climb and the lift going down is a little congested. Interesting architecture, definitely worth doing
