I really hate to give S. Maria delle Grazie at Naviglio just 3 stars. In Italy It is dwarfed by the larger impressive churches. Nothing special at this church.

The church was erected in the early 20th century at the site of the 16th century chapel that was later replaced by a baroque church which was demolished in a fire in 1719. It is a modest church in a lively district with beautiful interior.

When you visit the Navigli area of Milan, take a few minutes to visit this beautiful church...the interior has a lovely altar, soaring ceiling, and many intricate carvings...lending a quiet and peaceful image to the sometimes crowded canal outside..definitely worth a stop...

A nice place in the middle of of nowhere. Inside is pretty new and clean. The stain glass windows light up nicely during the day.

The Navigli is part of historic Milan. In the ancient
days, the entire city was linked with canals, similar
to Venice. Today, most of the canals are gone, but the
Navigli remains a canal-based neighborhood. There are
two major canals: Naviglio Pavese and Naviglio Grande.
The Naviglio Grande's bridges greet visitors at dusk
with an amazing view. The Navigli district specializes
in clubs, cafes, and vintage shops. Lifestyle reigns
