Situated in Porta Nuovo the richest district in any city in Europe. The countries tallest sky scraper is situated here . Also not to be missed a pair of residential towers , Bosco Verticale , which have over 900 trees growing on the balconies.

Well worth the walk here. Milan is building this out to be their version of New York's Highline. This Piazza is at the end of the walk, many restaurants, shops and the gateway into the Como and Garibaldi area.

For those looking for a break from tourist enclaves, hop on the metro and visit Piazza Gae Aulenti. It's where old and new meet, in my mind. The piazza has many mid-to-high end shopping options, wonderful modern architecture all around, and a very easy walk...More

A thing to see , very nice place connecting the old and the new in the north of the city, basically a shopping mall with high rise buildings around. The works are under construction but it promises to be the highlight of the city.
