in a former bank, belle epoque architecture is now a lovely container for all kinds of amazing art. Revolving exhibits, and an incredible collection of Lombard painting.

The gallery makes the most of a rather eccentric collection, brought together from the art holdings of various banks. But in the end it feels disjointed, and has to fight the rather overwhelming architecture of the 3 palazzi which house it. The cafe staff were...More

A museum with both modern abstract art and classical oil paintings. Although a part of the museum was empty when I went in due to preparation of a new temporary exhibition, the remaining part was still stunning.

This is a nice little museum featuring a variety of types of Itallian artworks, but for me the star of the show was the Italian Impressionist collection. Many wonderful works that perhaps get less recognition than their French counterparts. A very nice way to spend...More

This building is very easy to find, since it's adjacent to Galleria V.E.II and across the streey from La Scalla. Quite an interesting find.

The whole complex is something special. If you are interested in Italian art, this is your place - from the 19th century to the most contemporrary works you will find some.

So much grand art in Italy, so the bar is rather (and unfairly) high. I found this Gallery with a lot to be desired. Personal taste makes a big difference, so just recommend doing some research on the collection and see if it matches your...More

This is a spectacular setting for a museum. A bank that still has many of the features intact including an incredible lobby area (inside past where you buy tickets). My wife and I particluarly like impressionist era paintings and had never really experienced the italian...More

This gallery has a surprisingly wide range of art -- from the 19th century to contemporary. The building itself is also very interesting -- with wonderful ceilings and a nice garden.

There is parking but you must be very lucky to park nearby because it is always or nearly always occupied. I recommend you leave the car in the outskirts and have a walk. There are many places to go and visit and if you like... More
