I think this square is only on the TripAdvisor list of thing to see because it is just off of the Piazza del Duomo. It is a simple pedestrianised walkway with shops and restaurants to both sides and a single large building with nice architecture....More

Love these old markets, like the one in Bruge, BE we saw decades ago, the ones in Venice proper, and on the Lido, and South, bu bus and ferry at Chioggia, and others all over the UK.

You got into a different world. Much less crowded and you fins yourself in the middle ages. The houses here around are something to look at. It is a nice place.

Beautiful square, adjacent to the Duomo square, but much less crowded. Filled with nice restaurants and shops. Very historic and beautiful architecture. Worth checking out.

A narrow little square where you can take a breath from the crowded Duomo or Galleria that are nearby. We were here in the morning, so there were not too many places open, there is a small souvenir shop there.

It's nice to break away from the crowd nearby areas and get in this little square. It was half under restoration and not too much info available.

Not so crowded as the nearby Piazza del Duomo, this little square was the heart of the city in the medieval times. At the time, there were six entry points to the square, each connected to a different trade. Today, it is pretty quiet place...More

Piazza Mercanti is a nice little square, only a few minutes from the central square where the Milan cathedral is located. This small square does not have the "life" the Duomo square possesses, but it hosts a number of impressive old buildings, or palaces that...More

The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square
