The Duomo, symbol of Milan in the world, is one of the largest cathedrals in Italy and Europe. Patrimony of Milanese people and humanity, over the centuries it has been expressing, with its magnificence, the devotion of humanity toward the Divine, involving future generations in an endless commitment. The Milan Cathedral, besides being an artistic monument, is a privileged place of prayer, deeply linked to the memory and teachings of the Bishops who succeeded on St. Ambrose's chair, and to the history of the millions of worshippers who, every year, gather in this place to celebrate the Sacred Mysteries. The Cathedral is the mother Church of the Diocese, having a symbolic role of exemplarity both in the life of the city worship, and in relation with the Diocese activity.

Magnificant cathedral. Paid for lift tickets. Three children 9,8 and 5 enjoyed the terraces. Choose the afternoon to avoid still hot August sun. Plus includes direct access to cathedral. In August everybody is on holiday- many shops and attractions were closed, so no need to...More

Normally I go and gawk at churches, but this time decided to take a tour with my 12 year old son. Wow, was it worth it! We learned so much about some tiny details that boggled the mind. We opted for the tour that includes...More

Absolutely amazing!!! We were just in awe of the views on the roof top. Well worth the climb up! Only shame was some of it had scaffolding for repairs so we couldn’t walk around much. Wear grippy shoes as the roof is slanted and slippy!

I was able to go up into the cathedral following a mess up with my tour, but it was brilliant when I was able to. Up on top of the cathedral, the views were spectacular and the interior was beautiful. Well worth €25.

This is the city centre so you’d expect it to be packed, worth the hustle and bustle though. Just be careful with pick pockets as it’s that busy, the place looks amazing

The Duomo in Milan is magnificent. In fact, in my opinion, it’s the only landmark in Milan that is worth seeing.

Impressive attraction. We visited Friday afternoon and it was no queue for the terrace and the cathedral was not crowded. The site we booked our room through sent us a discount code for different attractions which help as well.
