The first church in town was is XI century. This nice church on double level (the highest not accessible) suffers of same problem of other city’s masterpieces: opening time is small. Enjoy!

Oldest church in Mantova - originally built in the 11th century. Wonderful frescoes. Small size and octagonal design much different from Renaissance churches.

I guess the most interesting element of the building is the architecture. Perfectly round constructed of bricks. A donation is a good idea.
