We walked from our hotel (La Palma) to the park, approximately 15 minuets, and were rewarded with a great walk through a beautiful park that wasn’t groomed within an inch of its life. Everything was so natural and seeing the free roaming animals was such...More

Definitely worth visiting. Gardens are nice but all of the animals on the estate make it really fun and unique in comparison to all of the other gardens/estates in the area. It is also really nice that many of the animals are rescued and nursed...More

What a find just about a 20 minute walk from our hotel. This was just incredible & so well thought out especially being able to mingle with the animals. We just loved it.

Visited these lovely gardens which included some delightful animals. A nice afternoon out and only about a 10 minute drive from Stresa. We got our hotel to book a taxi for 10 Euros each way

Pro: there are lots of trees providing shade on a hot day. Cons: the zoo isn't worth visiting, everythings smells of abandonment. It is not a stroller friendly place, although the majority of visitors are families with small children...

A garden overlooking the lake with excellent planting, this is really a botanic garden with animals. We are a retired couple with a lifelong love of gardening and we have visited this garden twice. Well worth a visit - lovely friendly staff in the coffee...More

The Park Pallavicino is a small zoo with gardens, it's a bit of a hidden gem and doesn't seem to be that well publicised, there wasn't any leaflets for it in our hotel, or at the ferry terminals. We'd visited before, and it has been...More

It is easy top walk around, but it is on a hill. You better take the little train from Stresa main square so to arrive at the top and then walk down. Come and see us!
