Just a few minutes walk from the centre of Stresa and you can have an excellent walk through delightful woods and gardens. It is an uphill walk through woods where you will encounter llamas, donkeys, sheep, goats and many more small animals in close proximity. The...More

We strolled here, taking the lakeside roadway. Its close to town and the gardens are lovely and well taken care of. It was a reasonable entry price and they had a package admission for multiple days to other nearby activities. This garden exceeded our expectations,...More

This is not well promoted but it has excellent botanical gardens, a petting zoo with large numbers of creatures, impressive variety of trees and a hill top restaurant with georgeous views of Lake Maggiore.

Having read some if the reviews I think we just visited at the right time. A quiet, sunny day, walking with our dog who was permitted everywhere apart from the farm, where animals were apparently roaming. But there was plenty more to see. The grounds...More

We spent several hours here, walking in the gardens, and looking and interacting with the animals, (including some Australian ones for us Aussies!). It was peaceful with plenty of space to be away from people. Some parts of the gardens obviously haven’t been able to...More

Lovely park, but beware is quite a long steepish walk up to the top, but is well shaded and you get to meet the gorgeous animals on the way, where you can mingle with the goats, Llamas and deer, who are so cute. The villa...More

We walked from our hotel (La Palma) to the park, approximately 15 minuets, and were rewarded with a great walk through a beautiful park that wasn’t groomed within an inch of its life. Everything was so natural and seeing the free roaming animals was such...More

Definitely worth visiting. Gardens are nice but all of the animals on the estate make it really fun and unique in comparison to all of the other gardens/estates in the area. It is also really nice that many of the animals are rescued and nursed...More

What a find just about a 20 minute walk from our hotel. This was just incredible & so well thought out especially being able to mingle with the animals. We just loved it.

Visited these lovely gardens which included some delightful animals. A nice afternoon out and only about a 10 minute drive from Stresa. We got our hotel to book a taxi for 10 Euros each way

It is easy top walk around, but it is on a hill. You better take the little train from Stresa main square so to arrive at the top and then walk down. Come and see us!
