Just when we thought we had seen enough cathedrals / churches, we decided to nonetheless head to the Cattedrale di Cremona e Torrazzo. The architecture of this cathedral as well as its art is a must-see in Cremona. I recommend reading up about this landmark...More

Piazza del Duomo definitely deserves a visit with the Duomo, Torrazzo and Baptistery to one side of the square and the city’s Palazzo Comunale on the opposite side. The Torrazzo is the tallest brick church steeple in Europe and can be climbed all the way...More

The piazza Duomo, the Duomo and surrounding historic center of my beautiful Cremona will surprise and delight you. The torrazzo stands majestic and fantastic. Just walk around and take everything in. Spectacular at night Grazie

We wandered through the church at 6.45. No hassle at all compared to the frenzy of Milan. Really chilled. Really quiet. Nice place to contemplate.

The Duomo looks impressive from outside especially with it's associated tower. The interior is a bit of a disappointment. While it is a massive area it is fairly dark which doesn't allow the artworks to be seen in all their glory.
