We would recommend you visit this church, from Rapallo on the Funivia. A short walk up the path and steps to find this retreat. Beautiful ornate, decorate frescos and stunning vistas of the surrounding mountains/villages.

A festival was on when we were there - church had a lot of activity. Made our stay at the hotel more noisy but it added to the charm for us.

The sanctuary is a cable car ride from Rapallo. The interior of the sanctuary is well worth a visit - I'll not spoil it by showing you a photo. The views from around the sanctuary are spectacular.

It was very interesting trip. View is spectacular. Mountines and houses are like in game so small and beautiful.

It’s a steep climb but with the cable train you’r in 8 min up hill. And this santuario di Montallegro is no exception one of the most beautiful sites of Rappalo to see.

Took the cable car up and the views were spectacular. There was a birthday party at one of the buildings, kids karaoke in such a serene setting, haha. Gorgeous!
